Image Reproduction & Use
The Haines Sheldon Museum charges fees for orders of a photo or image from our collection. Total fees for image orders are comprised of a reproduction fee and a use fee. Possession of reproductions of Haines Sheldon Museum materials does not constitute permission for use.
Reproduction Fee
The reproduction fee reflects the labor and materials cost of creating a copy of the photo or image. This one-time fee will vary according to the size and type of reproduction created, and may also include extra charges for rush orders or additional staff research/labor.
300dpi Photo print. Available in Gloss or Matte, B/W or Color.

Reference copies for researchers, available in Plain Paper Photocopy (B/W). Researchers may also take low resolution photos or request a thumbnail (100dpi max). Up to 20 initial reference copies available free for researchers. Additional reference copies at following rate:

Use Fee
The use fee is charged for permission to use the copy of the Museum’s original image one time, whether for personal or commercial purposes. All details and description of use must be included in a signed Collections Reproduction & Use Agreement. The museum distinguishes between non-profit, scholarly and commercial use. There are no use fees associated with personal use. Determination of which fees apply in any given instance is at the discretion of Museum staff.
